The launch of World Of Warcraft: Classic is scheduled. A game that brings a lot of nostalgia to Vanilla players, the once first version of World of Warcraft. And all current players are also enthusiastic. Expectations are therefore high.

There have already been a number of beta and stress tests in the past period. Everyone seems to be looking forward to August 27th, some have even planned a week's vacation after that day to get to level 60 as soon as possible, the new old level cap.

Everything seems to be going to be a success, and that in the year of 15 years of existence! Everything looks like this old game, put in a new jacket, is going to give another big boost to the Warcraft community.

1. Gameplay from the old days

In recent years Blizzard has chosen to simplify the gameplay a little to attract a larger target group. And so, among other things, make the raiding possible for everyone.

Unlike the current gameplay, classic will become a bit more difficult than you are used to. If you're a player of the last few years, it's definitely going to be a bummer. Where you can now handle groups of 10+ mobs (NPCs), or where you can solo elite, classic 2 or more mobs will already create the necessary problems.

2. The World of Walkcraft

The world will only consist of Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms. And it's a good thing. 'Cause you're gonna be walking a lot of miles again. Especially since you won't get that coveted mount until level 40 (instead of the current level 20). In addition, it also costs a lot (80 gold), and gold is something that you will not make so quickly in Classic.

You know you're not a money-making machine? Then you can always choose to play Warlock, then you get your own quest line to play mount (free) free.

3. Talent & Professions

No more multiple specs. You get different talent-trees, from level 10 you always get one point to spend on one of these talents. The great thing about classic is that you will also learn different levels of that talent per talent. They all cost gold. So there are bound to be times when you can't learn a new talent right away, simply because you don't have enough gold. Something that is naturally part of the Classis experience!

The same applies to the various professions. Inscription, Jewel crafting and Archaeology will not be present in Classic. And furthermore, it's wise to think carefully about the professions you're going to choose. Fishing, First Aid and Cooking simply remain the secondary professions and are always available.

4. Races & Classes

Unlike all current options, the choice of Classic races and classes is much more limited. During previous enlargements, new races and classes were added.

At the Burning Crusade, they were Draenei and Blood Elves, to The Demon Hunter of Legion, and the Allied Races in Battle for Azeroth. None of that in Classic. No to Alliance, there is only the choice: Human, Dwarf, Night Elf and Gnome. For Horde players: Orc, Tauren, Undead and Troll. And also the number of classes to play is limited to: Priest, Rogue, Warrior, Mage, Druid, Hunter, Warlock, Shaman (only Horde) and Paladin (only Alliance).

5. Pure nostalgia

Okay, here's one for first-day players. But Wow Classic brings a lot of nostalgia to these players. The above points all count. It is therefore expected that many players will return. And on the bright side, there are also rumors that Blizzard wants to do the same with the Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King.
